What does a hook-whistleblower do?
Hook lift - signalman, also referred to as crane operator's assistant, is the person responsible for suspending and unhitching loads, using appropriate lifting equipment and accessories, initiating crane and load movement when necessary, as well as transmitting the signal to the crane operator.
Working as a hook loader - the whistleblower is responsible and requires appropriate knowledge and skills to safely suspend and unhitch loads on cranes. The works include construction, renovation, assembly, and handling.

To work as a hook lift - signaller, appropriate qualifications are required in accordance with the requirements of the Office of Technical Inspection. In order to obtain them, it is necessary to participate in the training and pass the UDT exam.
The conditions that must be met to participate in the course are:
- being 18 years of age or older
- at least basic education
- no health contraindications to work in the position
