Overhead crane - what's worth knowing?
An overhead crane is a machine designed to move heavy loads and equipment from one place to another. It is made up of a support structure that travels along tracks. On the structure move the hoists, which are responsible for the vertical and horizontal movement of the loads.
Overhead cranes come in different sizes, types and configurations, so we divide them into two main categories:
- cranes controlled from the working level,
- cab-operated cranes.
The two main reasons for installing an overhead crane are safety and efficiency. Overhead cranes operate several times faster than other floor equipment. They can also easily carry heavy loads in harsh environments without endangering workers.
Overhead cranes are machines mainly used on construction sites, production halls and small and large warehouses. The most popular crane manufacturers include: ABUS, ZBUD, HOOK, PROMAG, BUDTOR and FUD.
Crane service
Servicing cranes is not as complicated as it sounds. We are able to repair many components of the equipment without having to replace them with new ones. This translates into lower operating and maintenance costs and is also a quicker way to get the equipment back in service.
In addition, we offer UDT operator and maintenance training:
- telescopic loaders,
- cranes,

- forklift truck,
- mobile platforms (all types).
